Yvonne Salter, NP, BScN, MN-NP
In 2010, Yvonne graduated from STFX University with a bachelor of science in Nursing, from then on completed her masters in nursing at Athabasca University in 2018. Her nursing background includes both ICU and ER, and currently works in Primary healthcare holding an active license as a nurse practitioner with the CRNNS.
Yvonne is now a clinical trainer for CNA-accredited THMA consulting team in Nova Scotia and our Lead Medical Director and Authorized Prescriber at The Treatment Room in Amherst.
Yvonne believes that when patients are empowered, they can truly embrace their unique beauty journey.

Kelly Burbine, RN, BScN & Certified Nurse Injector
Kelly is a Registered Nurse who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 from the University of Western Ontario. Kelly has been in practice for 12 years, while on staff at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre she worked in ER & ICU, then later joined VON as a Community Nurse. Since the beginning of 2022, she has undergone trainings and certifications and has begun to establish a career as a Certified Nurse Injector.
Kelly’s goal is to always ensure a comfortable, safe, and positive experience each time a client is in her care and artistry. Kelly is always on the lookout for new techniques, keeps up to date by attending seminars, and is known for her light touch and natural-looking outcomes. She hopes to help women and men recognize their own inner beauty and boost their self-confidence through safe and effective non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
When she is not at work treating her patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Jaelyn, traveling to anywhere with sunshine, attending trainings and continuing her education.
Denise Sarty RN, BScN & Certified Nurse Injector
As a Registered Nurse with a background in hemodialysis and home care nursing, Denise is no stranger to building lasting therapeutic relationships with her patients. After taking a brief time off to spend with her family, she was ready to branch into a different kind of nursing and found medical Aesthetics.
She has a strong desire to work closely with her patients to create outcomes that boost confidence and promote positive self esteem. Among her friends and family members she is lovingly known as “The Sunscreen Police”. Denise is passionate about skin health and is rarely seen without her SkinBetterScience Tone Smart Compact in her bag.
In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with her family and animals relaxing by the Lake in her backyard. In The Treatment Room, Denise is known for her witty one liners, and enthusiasm over perfectly placed filler to enhance her patients natural beauty.
